“Into God’s Hands” has been our theme for Stewardship this fall as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the beginnings of the Protestant Reformation. What is the best use of the gifts—talents, time and resources–we have been blessed to receive?  That is what we seek to discern in this Stewardship season as we consider our commitments in the year ahead.

“I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God’s hands, that I still possess.” ~Martin Luther

The work of the church proceeds from the blessings God has given us and the generous commitment of a portion of those gifts to the ministries of our congregation.  Those ministries are varied and growing, helping us to reach and serve children and adults in our community and literally across the world.

Pledge cards to support this work were mailed out to church members in late October. The Session anticipates in the coming year that our basic needs as a church will continue to grow, and so we are asking members to prayerfully consider increasing pledges by 2% or more so that our budget can accommodate this modest expansion.

It’s never too late to return your pledge card!  Cards are available on the tables in the back of the sanctuary or in the church office.  You may return your pledge  card to the church office, mail it in, or you may contact  Michelle Fortin, our Financial Administrator, directly via phone (238-2422) or by email to verbally give your pledge. or if you have a question about your pledge.
