Here are the before and after pictures of the Chancel window. Epiphany did an exceptional job disassembling the window down to the individual glass piece, cleaning it, re-leading the window, installing it, refinishing the wood (both inside and out), and installing the exterior protective laminated glass cover. The next set of windows to be removed, starting the week of July 24th will be the 17 windows along the back of the Sanctuary (along the alley), plus all the very small clerestory windows (in the tower, attic, and above the Chancel. Please address any concerns or questions to Don Hartzell.
BEFORE: Single pane 77-year-old leaky windows with missing glaze and rusted lentil above the window.
AFTER: Double-pane, tilt-in Anderson windows with lentil repaired and clad, and wood frame clad in aluminum–essentially maintenance free.
