Recently, our contractor, C.L. Greenland, Inc., completed work on 83 double-hung windows in the Education Building and the basement of the Sanctuary Building.  All windows are now double-pane, energy efficient, tilt-in windows.  The outside wood frames have been capped with aluminum and the lentils above the windows that support the brick overhead have been capped with vinyl.  They look great, brighten up the exterior of SCPC, and should help to reduce our heating, electricity, and maintenance bills!

The windows of the second phase of the stained glass windows restoration have been removed along the alley side of the Sanctuary.  These windows are being taken to Epiphany Studios in Virginia for dismantling, cleaning, re-leading, and replacement.  When these windows are returned and installed in late October, the arched windows on both sides of the Sanctuary will be removed in the third phase of the project.
