Our first full afternoon/evening of LOGOS is September 20, 2016
LOGOS is a four-part program of Christian nurture including Bible Study, Worship Skills, Recreation/Activities and Dinners for Children and Youth in Grades 1-8. The program for elementary aged children is called GECKOS (*God’s Enthusiastic Caring Kids of Spirit), and it is designed to be the start of their Logos experience. This program runs from mid September to mid April each year. GECKOS children start at 3:45 pm on Tuesday until 7 pm. Middle School youth are in the LOGOS group called “Chrysalis.” See the next page for information on their program.
We study God’s word every week, but that’s not all! In addition to studying God’s word,we practice living out God’s word on each other. We practice treating everyone as a child of God as we have a meal together, as we play games or make neat stuff together, and as we work together to lead worship as a choir. We’re all children of God, young and old, and we treat each other that way.
LOGOS has a Coordinating Team made up of our LOGOS Director and other volunteers and is resourced by the following staff: Deannine Shipman, Diana Malcom, and Ned Wetherald. LOGOS is under the programs of the Education Ministry Unit.

There are, once again, separate forms (Registration and Health/Release). You can print out the forms, fill them out at home, and mail them to the church office with a check, or hand deliver them if you’d like.
