Young at Heart is a fellowship group for persons age 55 and older. The group meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Friday of the month, for a pot-luck dinner followed by a program. All who are “young at heart” are invited. Just bring a covered dish and your own table service and enjoy an evening of fellowship. It is a great way to meet other church members and make new friends.

Young at Heart in September
Young at Heart will meet again on Friday, September 22, 2017. The Rev. Barry and Linda Vance will be our special guests and share a program on “The Thursday Volunteers of Krislund.”
All past and present volunteers who have worked at Camp Krislund in recent years and all Young At Hearters will find it highly enjoyable to review the vast and unending changes that have been accomplished, a great deal of it by volunteer labor. A pictorial history of the improvements, additions and on- going maintenance will be presented along with explanations and descriptions of what was accomplished and when. It is wondrous work motivated by love of God and Camp Krislund.
Young at Heart is the fellowship group for seniors (adults of ANY age) at SCPC. We meet monthly September through June, often on the third Friday of the month in the Social Hall. No RSVP is needed. Just arrive around 5:00 for conversation over coffee/ tea while you set up things for the potluck supper. Bring a main dish, salad, side, or dessert (your choice), two utensils to serve it, your own table service plus your name tag. Your own table service means: dinner/dessert plates, silverware, cup(s) for water/coffee/tea, and a napkin. The potluck buffet starts at 5:30 with program to follow, usually about 6:30. We are typically out by 7:30.
