P.O.L.O. (Parents of Little Ones)

POLOPOLO is a fellowship group for parents with young children (at least one child under the age of 6).  We gather monthly on the first Tuesday during the program year (October- May) for dinner out at a nearby restaurant, and for a potluck bbq during the summer months with  “POLO in the Park”.  There are also monthly “moms only” and “dads only” activities.  Periodic retreats are also held.  If you are a parent of a little one(s) and are seeking fellowship opportunities with other parents of little ones, this is the program for you!

Click on the sub-menu to the right for more information about POLO, or contact Associate Pastor Mike Ozaki.

Wednesday in the Word Bible Study

In Wednesday in the Word, (formerly “Women in the Word”), we are studying John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress” and the Scriptures he included in the margins.  We will all be using the same version of the book, so if you want to join us, please contact Connie Curilla for the information.  We meet in the Fireside Room, beginning with lunch at 12:30 pm.  Bring a bag lunch and join in fellowship and conversation.  The study runs from 1:00 – 2:00 pm each Wednesday.  Questions? Contact Connie Curilla or Linda Edvar.

Cancellation Policy:  If SCASD cancels school, there is no meeting; if SCASD has early dismissal, there is no meeting.

Join us for Coffee Hour

As always, our congregation enjoys weekly fellowship during the coffee hour in between worship services every Sunday.  Congregation members take turns hosting and serving coffee during this hour. We provide bagels, coffee, hot water for tea or hot chocolate, and round tables for people to sit, relax, and catch up with friends and church family.

Young at Heart (Adults 55+)

Young at Heart is a fellowship group for persons age 55 and older. The group meets monthly for a pot-luck dinner followed by a program. All who are “young at heart” are invited. Just bring a covered dish and your own table service and enjoy an evening of fellowship. It’s a great way to meet other church members and make new friends.
