Date: Friday 16 December 2016
Time: 5:30 pm
Place: SCPC ~ Social Hall
Young at Heart will gather for their monthly potluck dinner on Friday, December 16. The program will be presented by Al Butler, who will speak about the Gift of Life Donor Program and relate his personal story of his nephew’s death and his sister’s decision to allow her son’s body to be harvested. On average, 21 people die every day in the United States waiting for a live-saving organ. Find out how you can provide hope and make a difference.
Young at Heart is the fellowship group for seniors (adults of ANY age) at SCPC. We meet monthly from September through June, often on the third Friday of the month, in the Social Hall. No RSVP is needed – just arrive around 5:00 for conversation over coffee/tea while you set up your things for the potluck supper. Bring main course, salad, side, or dessert to share (your choice), 2 utensils to serve it, and your own table service plus a name tag. Your own table service means: dinner/dessert plate(s), silverware, cup(s) for water/coffee/tea and a napkin. The potluck buffet starts at 5:30 and the program follows usually about 6:30 pm. We are typically done about 7:30 pm.
